Malaika and I became friends through the online mailing lists for Now Voyager, once Kate Mulgrew's official fan club, and the RBLS, the erstwhile Robert Beltran Lust Society. She's a wonderful writer and her stories are now homeless, so I persuaded her to let me post them here.
