This story began with one ficlet, "Cloaked By Snowfall," which grew out of a vague dream I had about Aragorn, Faramir and a haystack. I felt guilty about it because I'd sworn I wouldn't write any Aragorn/Faramir, even though the pairing seems so obvious from the Houses of Healing scene in The Return of the King, because I wanted to give poor Boromir his fair turn. But the Boromir who lives in my head looked at me strangely and said, "Why assume that everyone lives with grief and regret hanging over his or her head after the war? Why not assume that they siezed whatever happiness they found available to them?" And Victorian morality went out the window.

Ashinae, my partner in crime, betaed "Cloaked By Snowfall" and wrote the dialogue for "Season of Wonder" with me, and the rest of this grew out of that. The series contains polyamory, m/m sex, f/f sex, group sex, and general disdain for the concept of the One True Pairing. The chapters were written out of order and may reflect some anachronisms as a result, since this is a work in progress.
